What is ACP treatment?

ACP (Auto Crosslinked Polymer) injections enable a gradual release of highly pure Hyaluronic Acid which provokes a bio-stimulation response. A bio-stimulation response is when the skin is activated to optimise itself and leads to rejuvenation in the deeper layers of the skin. As a result the skin becomes firmer, more elastic and rejuvenated.

Is this similar to ProfHilo?

This is similar in terms of improving skin quality but this is more helpful for imperfections in the skin e.g pitting, scarring and it also helps tighten the skin, especially the lower areas of the face.

What are the benefits?

It is highly effective for soft tissue defects, hypothrophic and acne scars. It is also a great way to rejuvenate the skin, improving elasticity and skin tone.

What does the treatment involve?

The treatment involves lots of little injections to the area of concern. There is minimal discomfort, a mild stinging sensation but less noticeable than ProfHilo. For patients with Acne, we may recommend ACP treatment in conjunction with micro-needling to tackle any stubborn acne scarring.

Is this a one-off treatment?

You will notice an improvement after one treatment but we highly recommend a course of 3 treatments, spread over 3 months (so one a month) to maximise the benefit. Ideally to maintain the effect, we recommend this treatment be repeated a least once a year.

Is there any downtime?

Minimal - potentially a little bit of bruising in the injected area. Results can be seen very quickly, e.g the next day.

£300 per session
£500 for 2 sessions
£750 for 3 sessions
